Bond is the lifespan clock
Well-prepared concrete with a correctly stacked system often gives many years of residential service. The same resin on smooth concrete may peel in months. Lifespan questions are really bond and abuse questions.
Traffic and chemistry matter
A home garage with normal tire traffic and sensible cleaning lasts differently than a shop with brake clean spills and dropped tools. We specify wear layers accordingly.
When to recoat
Topcoats can sometimes be refreshed if the base is sound. Failed areas need removal back to profiled concrete—not another layer over contamination.
