How long does epoxy take to cure?
Full chemical cure can take days depending on product and temperature. Foot traffic and vehicle timelines are spelled out per system—we will not rush you onto a floor before the chemistry supports it.
Why does garage floor coating matter in Minnesota?
Road salt, slush, and freeze–thaw cycles pull moisture through concrete and stress weak finishes. A mechanically prepared slab with a quality resin system sheds meltwater, resists chloride exposure better than bare concrete, and reduces hot tire pickup issues common when summers heat a garage slab.
Do you mechanically prep every slab?
Yes. Coatings bond to profiled concrete, not a smooth trowel finish. We diamond grind (and use other prep methods when specified) so the system has a proper anchor pattern—especially important when slabs see temperature swings and moisture cycling.
