GARAGE EPOXY FLOORS
IN LAKEVILLE, MN

Lakeville garage slabs run the gamut — 70s-era pours in the older neighborhoods near downtown all the way up to fresh concrete in the newer developments south of County Road 70. We work both ends of that range, and we diamond-grind every job down to a clean profile before anything else happens.

WHAT WE SEE
ON LAKEVILLE SLABS

Lakeville covers a wide range of slabs. The older neighborhoods near downtown and along 162nd run on garage floors poured in the 70s and 80s — by now those slabs usually have years of salt saturation, surface scaling along the overhead-door track, and sometimes a weak laitance layer you can scrape up with a finger. The newer developments off Cedar Avenue and out toward Spirit and Avonlea are mostly fresh pours, but they almost always still carry a curing compound from the original finish that has to be ground off before any coating bonds correctly.

Either way, the prep dictates the outcome. We diamond grind the entire floor, V-cut and fill the control joints and any cracks, fix the pitting, and only then start laying down the system. No acid wash, no shortcuts, no spray-on bond promoter pretending to be prep.

  • Older Lakeville garages typically need crack repair and pitting fill before coating
  • Newer subdivision slabs need curing-compound removal before bonding
  • South-facing patios need a UV-stable polyaspartic or polyurea — not standard epoxy
  • Diamond grinding on every job — no acid wash, no shortcuts
  • Sherwin-Williams industrial epoxy and polyaspartic products
  • 10-year written warranty on every installation
